A Brief History of WBBC

In 1931, a small group of Baptist, Methodist & Presbyterian Christian believers realized the need for a place of worship in the local community.

A vision in the hearts of the believers, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, led to meeting in a one room storage building, organizing a church by the name of West Burnsville Union Church.

Due to the blessing of growth in the mid-1950’s, WBUC joined the Southern Baptist Convention and was officially named West Burnsville Baptist Church. (WBBC)
